Inflammation and Auto Immune Oil
A cooling blend for areas that feel tense, reactive, or irritated.
Designed to support muscles and joints that feel tight, overworked, or inflamed. Many people use it when their pain levels feel elevated or when inflammation makes muscles feel reactive or tender, helping them feel a few points more comfortable on their personal pain scale.
Uses:
- Muscle discomfort
- Joint tension
- Trigger points
- Sensitivity during autoimmune flare-ups
- Overall inflammatory tension
The Essential Oils in This Blend:
- Lavender is always used to balance the blend.Â
- Lemongrass is for overall support of the body’s natural inflammatory response.
- Rosemary is for bone and joint comfort (commonly associated with stiffness or achiness).
- Â Peppermint is for occasional nerve-related discomfort.
- Â Marjoram is for muscle comfort.
- Â Birch is to support comfort (traditionally associated with aspirin-like compounds).
Primary use of the blend:
These oils were blended to use for supporting the body’s natural inflammatory response. Later, it was discovered that the blend worked very well for supporting immune-system balance, as the inflammatory process is primarily orchestrated by the immune system. When the body encounters a foreign substance, such as bacteria or a virus, or experiences tissue damage, the immune system initiates an inflammatory response.Â
This response involves a complex cascade of events, including the release of chemical signals and the recruitment of immune cells to the affected area. Long-term, unresolved inflammation can place increased demand on the immune system and may contribute to deeper imbalances. By effectively supporting healthy inflammatory processes, more energy can then be directed toward restoration and balance within the body.
Secondary Use of the Oil
Immune-system–related imbalance support & exposure to viruses that may place additional stress on the immune system
