Decompress Oil

(FORMERLY “FIBROMYALGIA BLEND”)

A warm, grounding blend for moments of emotional overload and nervous system tension.

This blend was created to support a sense of harmony when the nervous system feels overstimulated or “wired and tired.” Many people use it when emotions have been running high for a long time and their body begins responding with heightened sensitivity—something often experienced by those navigating conditions like fibromyalgia—where even light pressure may feel uncomfortable. By encouraging the system to settle and soften, this blend can help break the cycle of emotional fatigue and physical tension so the body can regain a greater sense of ease.

Uses:

  • Sensitivity to touch
  • Trouble settling or resting
  • Emotional fatigue
  • Stress-related tension
  • General nervous system overload

The Oils in the Blend:

  • Lavender is always used to balance the blend.
  • Cedarwood is for the soul. The soul was worn out long before the body in this condition. This oil helps the body reconnect with the soul that is lost, torn, or forgotten.
  • Patchouli, while good for physical skin comfort, is an oil that reconnects the soul to the body, emotionally. It is both peaceful and guiding.
  • Peppermint is physically supportive to the nervous system and supports balance of impulses in both directions at the same time (baseline regulation).

Primary Use of the Blend:

  • These oils were blended to support harmony within the nervous system and to allow it to find the correct way to “pulse” again.
  • The condition of fibromyalgia is often described as how the nervous system copes with extreme loss or emotional stress. If too much emotion is felt for a long period of time, the nervous system starts to feel overwhelmed or depleted (burned out).
  • As a protective mechanism, the sense of pressure and the sense of pain can become altered. What was once felt as pressure on the skin may be perceived as pain, and what was once felt as pain may be experienced as pressure.
  • This is typically an emotionally driven pain experience that influences the physical body.
  • It is through the emotional body that we can support changes in the physical body, in the case of fibromyalgia-related patterns.

Secondary Use of the Blend:

A person can have the symptoms commonly associated with fibromyalgia and not have fibromyalgia. This is a vibration that is significantly out of balance.
